Trump pressed about Jeffrey Epstein in 2015

For a guy who seems to know nothing about Jeffrey Epstein in 2025 - 2026, how did he know that Hillary Clinton would have some trouble because of Epstein all the way back in 2015? Why did he refer to Epstein as a "teflon"? It seems like Trump knew more than he would like people to know that he knew later on in his life during his Presidency, particularly his 2nd term in office.
